It’s My Birthday and An Update on The Christmas Market

September 3 2025 - Wednesday
Entry #15

Happy Birthday to me! I oddly woke up at 3 am, tried to fall back asleep, but at 3:30, I just decided to start my day. I started to read, but just didn’t feel like it, so I just didn’t. I’ve spent my reading time prepping and researching Gridfinity storage instead.

Talking about storage, I spent all day (literally 9 am–10:30 pm) organizing the garage. I built a dust collection cart, moved a bunch of tools, set up my pegboard tool wall (which looks awesome by the way), and started organizing my drawers.

I recorded the dust collection cart, but I thought of trying a more funny, sped-up approach. I plan to add humor in the videos too.

OK, let’s talk about the market. I decided to accept the offer to be a vendor. That will give me a lot of things:

  1. Exposure of my business.

  2. Exposure of my channel.

  3. Possible series of YouTube videos.

  4. Hopefully, some profit.

  5. Experience in planning and selling in a market.

Now, I have a lot of planning to do. I need to figure out what I’m going to sell, but also make it all. I need to figure out:
How I’ll display things,
What I need in my booth,
Pricing and bulk discounts,
How am I going to advertise my company and channel?
What videos am I going to make?
Social media advertising,
How I’ll get customers’ info for custom orders,
Will I need business cards?
Will I have a game or raffle to entice people to walk over?

and probably many other things, but that can wait a few days.
