Not a Day I Wanted to Write…

Today I naturally woke up at 2 am. I started my morning until I realized and went back to bed. I’m not sure what to write today, I almost didn’t write at all.

Yesterday I worked on my slab project. I tried to be more cinematic (except for the flattening, I just recorded it as a timelapse). I set up the jig wrong, and it flattened it sloped. I’ll probably share that in today’s video, but not record the flattening, just because I feel like it’ll become boring if the timelapse is too long.

The leg design I came up with for it Zoe, and my dad didn’t love. I’ll probably still make it, because I’m happy with it, and I like how it was my own design. I’m hoping I can start on them today. I don’t really know where to even start though.

My biggest confusion is how to make the template. How do I get the 3D modelled design to real life accurately? I could 3D print it, though I’ve never done that. I could also print it on paper, but how can I make it accurate when it’ll probably take multiple pages? Maybe I’ll go plan that now so I can be prepared.
